Coming in March 2014----the very FIRST ReeB House will be opening it's doors. This will be an oasis for touring bands, offering not only a place to sleep in a bed for the night, but a full laundry service, dinner and breakfast, and a packed meal for on the road to the next city. There will be 3 rooms, enough to assist 12 people per night. I do not want to charge bands for anything, so I am asking everyone, would you donate to a kickstarter or other fund raising alternative, with options to sponsor a room per night, week, or month...with incentives like band merchandise, free passes to shows, and other cool gifts? I'm just beginning to get this up and running, and while I can afford some, I might not be able to afford the whole enchilada. Since there are three rooms available at the property I am looking at, I'd like to fill all three from the get go...And as it looks right now, that would break down to a cost of around $50 per room per night. That covers the costs of running washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, food costs, and one more attendant other than myself. Let me know what you think, and if I should do a kickstarter or just solicit funds through PayPal.
